A couple of standout knocks in the 1st XI’s win over Briton Ferry Town… Callum Walters — 108 (84) His first century for the club in 8 years… and his first season using a Boundary Bat. Robbie Morris — 52* (65) A classy, unbeaten knock to anchor the innings

1st XI pulled off a brilliant run chase to beat Briton Ferry Town by 4 wickets 2nd XI fell short away to Cowbridge 1XI, despite a fighting unbeaten 56 from David Morgan. 3rd XI faced a tough test in the first local derby of the season and came up second best

TEAM NEWS | GAMEWEEK 2 Here is how we lineup for week 2 of the season 1st XI host @BaglanCricket 2nd XI travel to @Pontardawe_CC 3rd XI at home to @TATASteelCC The 1s and 2s are in action Saturday, with the 3s once again playing on Sunday.

Each season, umpires assess every ground and pitch they officiate — rating the condition of the playing surface and overall ground facilities. Maesteg CC was rated the best SWCA Division 1 Ground for 2024. Huge credit to everyone who works hard to keep the ground in top shape

We are happy to announce that Lee Morgan is stepping up as our head coach for 2025 season. Icky has been a huge part of the club over years, both on and off the field. However, we are still not sure if he took the job to avoid manning the bar on a Saturday.

One for the neutrals🏏 @ChipSodCC set a huge 385/5, with tons from Laver (195) & Wijeratne (112). Aron(96) & @AshleyColston (90) fought back, but we fell short on 275 Top effort from the lads—special mention to @ElisBird_10 for playing through a hamstring pull!
