Rachel Ruto says she prayed for a woman in Bungoma who had struggled to get a child, and years later she gave birth to twins.
Okay… but how does that improve the lives of Kenyan women today?
The Previous First Lady pushed conversations around maternal health, Linda Mama, Beyond Zero, cancer screening, and access to healthcare.
You could clearly point at initiatives that touched lives.
Today, instead of serious conversations about hospitals, maternity care, women’s health, or the cost of living, we are constantly being fed miracle testimonies and religious narratives.
And before people get emotional, twins being born years later is something science and medicine can explain perfectly well.
This is exactly why religion is the easiest tool politicians use when they want unquestioning supporters instead of citizens asking hard questions.
Maybe I’m wrong, what exactly should the role of a First Lady be in Kenya?

I have noticed some UDA bloggers are now hiding behind the “read the clause properly” argument. Fine. Let’s read it properly then.
First: Reject the Finance Bill 2026.
The bill is moving electric bikes and bicycle manufacturing inputs from ZERO-RATED to VAT EXEMPT.
And that change matters a lot.
Under zero-rating, manufacturers could claim back VAT paid on spare parts and raw materials used to manufacture the bikes. That helped keep production costs and retail prices lower.
Now under VAT-exempt status, they won’t be able to recover that VAT.
Meaning?
Higher production costs.
Higher prices for electric bikes and bicycles.
Consumers will pay more in the end.
I have attached:
• The clauses in the Finance Bill
• Snippets showing the CURRENT zero-rated status
• Evidence showing the parts are being moved to
Paragraph 157 of the VAT Act
And Paragraph 157 falls under VAT EXEMPT supplies.
So please, let’s stop pretending this change has no effect.

I’m neither a fan of Polo Kimani nor Mwaf so I won’t take any side, but i have questions.
First, why would Kimani go to someone’s Podcast smelling like a He-goat? That’s just lack of decency.
Second, how do we know Mwaf is not just lying to embarrass Kimani? I don’t trust mwaf he once said he wears thongs.
There is only one way to settle this.
Trial by Combat.
A boxing match between Polo Kimani and Mwafreeka.
We will buy tickets and place bets.

TWO ARRESTED, NARCOTICS SEIZED
Detectives from the Anti-Narcotics Unit (ANU) and Transnational Organised Crime Unit (TOCU) have arrested two drug traffickers, seizing a stash of cannabis sativa.
Thanks to intelligence leads about the suspects' illicit activities, the detectives set up an ambush in Limuru along the Nakuru-Nairobi Highway.
Their patience paid off when they intercepted a white Toyota Hiace cruising from Kakamega to Nairobi.
A swift search of the vehicle revealed two black bags, each packed with a bale of cannabis sativa, cleverly wrapped with a yellow cellotape.
The owners of the bags, Kiligwajjo Ashirafu and Misanya Suzan, both Ugandan nationals, were arrested on the spot.
Now in custody at Muthaiga Police Station, the pair is undergoing processing pending arraignment. Meanwhile, the seized narcotics are being detained as exhibits.

Rigathi Gachagua must stop pretending he is on a holy mission to save Kenyans while spending his energy sanitizing Uhuru Kenyatta and the Kenyatta family empire.
If Rigathi wants to lecture the country about corruption, greed and betrayal, he must also explain his own billions.
Which industry built him? Which factories? Which exports? Which invention? Which serious enterprise created that kind of wealth? Kenyans are tired of politicians who become billionaires through tenders and proximity to power, then return later wearing the costume of saviours.
And why this obsession with defending Uhuru? Uhuru’s administration left Kenya drowning in debt, Eurobond questions never disappeared, state capture exploded, connected families became richer, and ordinary Kenyans were handed the bill.
Ruto has made the crisis even more worse, but Uhuru helped build the road to this disaster.
Is Rigathi honestly trying to save Kenyans from Ruto’s greed and failures with his 'opposition', or is he trying to rehabilitate one corrupt power network so it can replace another?
The journey of saving Kenyans cannot be led by people obsessed with defending the same Kenyatta family empire that benefited while the country was being looted, borrowed into a hole, and handed over to another gang of thieves.

@sholard_mancity It's expected that old age comes with wisdom.but sometimes it leaves wisdom on the shelf, instead it picks a bald or white hair or a tummy or all of them combined.
English

Oburu has now repeated the familiar line: “If Ruto goes, what next?”
That question is meant to make Kenyans fear change.
As if Kenya has never changed presidents before.
He then says ODM is not associated with removing Ruto and that to them, “Ruto tosha.”
He also says he is not old, because “old is gold.”
But doesn't realize age alone has never been proof of wisdom.
Even wise people grow old, and so do unwise people.
Even failed leaders grow old.
And what exactly happens after Ruto goes?
The same thing that happens in every democracy.
People vote.
Another government takes over.
Kenya belongs to its citizens, not one man.

English

The leadership of ODM will destroy President Ruto’s campaign.
ODM Special NDC should have had a single agenda. Removal of Sifuna as SG.
Edwin Sifuna is still on the rooftop of ODM SG’s official Prado KCW and he is using the vehicle to insult Oburu, Junet and Wanga while they look from the sidelines scared of him.
We are destroying ODM. Baba told us that punishment must be instant and decisive.

If your boyfriend or husband ever says
something rude or disrespectful to you, don’t argue right away. Don’t cry. Don’t yell. Just look at him and say, “Write it down.” Tell him to take those exact words, the same tone, the same energy, and put it on paper. Then tell him to get in his car and deliver it to his mother. Or fold it neatly and hand it to his daughter.
Because if he can’t say it to his mother without feeling ashamed, if he wouldn’t want another man speaking to his daughter that way one day, then he already knows it’s wrong.
Men understand respect. They just sometimes
choose when to apply it.
You are not the emotional outlet for his frustration. You are not the easiest target in the room. Love does not give someone permission to belittle you. Anger does not excuse humiliation. Stress does not justify cruelty.
If he protects his mother with honor and dreams of protecting his daughter with dignity, then that same standard belongs to you.
And here’s the powerful part, you don’t have to fight to prove your worth. You simply set the boundary. Calm voice. Steady eyes. “You don’t get to speak to me like that.”
Because the way a man speaks to you is a reflection of how he sees you.
And you should never accept words he’d be too embarrassed to repeat to the women he loves most.

@sholard_mancity Tha lady mus be arrested.violence has no gender
English

I’ve just watched a deeply disturbing case of GBV on Citizen TV involving violence against a man. (Androcide)
Steve Kogia reportedly had a disagreement with his girlfriend, Gladwel Kagai, on the 13th. While resting on his bed, she allegedly poured extremely hot water on him, then took his phone and fled.
Along the way, over KSh 300,000 was withdrawn from his accounts, leaving him with only KSh 7.
He is currently hospitalized, and reports indicate no arrest has yet been made.
This is heartbreaking.
What is also deeply saddening is the noticeable silence from many voices that usually speak loudly against GBV. When the victim is a man, the urgency often seems to fade, and that silence is painful to witness.
If the victim were a woman, we would rightly call it femicide or GBV and demand immediate action. We must show the same moral clarity when the victim is a man.
Violence does not become less serious because of the victim’s gender. Pain is pain. Trauma is trauma.
We must continue to fight femicide, and also acknowledge cases of androcide and violence against men. Selective empathy weakens the fight against GBV instead of strengthening it.
Imagine if this were your brother, your son, or someone you love.
I say this not to divide, but to remind us that every human life deserves protection and justice.
If these allegations are confirmed, those responsible must be held accountable without delay.
End GBV in all its forms.
End femicide.
End androcide.
Justice for every victim.
