When the mob roadblock in Middlesborough asked if drivers were "white" "English" before allowing drivers to proceed they took no account of religion, immigration status, or citizenship. It was colour, race. Jude Bellingham would have been turned back (at best) as would have been a black British Pastor, a Bollywood actress. These were Race Riots. Those responsible must be charged as such.

The anaesthetists stood alone in their objection to ridiculous water injections being used as pain relief being included in the NICE guidelines.
They appear to be the only professional group in maternity calling for evidence based practice.
Not a coincidence they stand alone in being perceived as warm and caring by patients.
Midwives and obstetricians take note.

No anaesthetist involved in my birth, though there very much should have been. However, I hear this a lot from others. It's really notable how often bereaved and/or traumatised mums tell me the only person who gave them good care was the anaesthetist.

50% of people taking part in remote meetings multitask during the meetings (and we are doing more of it). Here is an excellent research-based article from @asana to remind us why we should try not to multitask. It's bad for our productivity & our mental health. It creates burnout: "Every single time we switch there is a cost. It's draining. It's taking longer to do the same thing".
