@ASSCnews It's an accommodation tax. Our islanders are not tourists when staying on the mainland for an appointment. Our trades / professionals are not tourists when working on islands or other parts of mainland away from home. We are not tourists staying overnight for a hospital visit

Visitor Levy = Tourist Tax Let’s be crystal clear: this isn’t just about international visitors. You, your family, your friends - every Scot taking a break in their own country will also pay this tax. 👉 We need your help to get the message out. ✅ Share this post. ✅ Talk to your networks. ✅ Stand up for Scotland’s tourism. Common sense must prevail. @SaveSCScotland @FionaCampbell74 @ScotBandBassoc @st_alliance

Guess who! Nice to see the return of the big laddie JC to the Hebrides after disappearing for a while. He’s getting on a bit now so never know when the last time is gonna be. Last sighting of Aquarius was down in Ireland which ain’t that far in a straight line from here.

I did it! Westernmost point of mainland Scotland. It was wild and atmospheric. A month since reaching the easternmost point at Peterhead.
