big things happening at home. our cat is pregnant and the whole family is certain that our neighbour's cat got her pregnant. Mom thinks that we should give the neighbour half of how many ever kittens she births, dad thinks that we should ask said neighbour to pay child support

Today I learned about a term called a 'glimmer.’ The opposite of a trigger. Glimmers are those moments in your day that make you feel joy, happiness, peace, or gratitude. Once you train your brain to be on the lookout for glimmers, these tiny moments will appear more and more.

We sent an offer to a key employee at one of my companies 8+ months ago. The employee declined the offer at the last second because his employer offered him more money. We were pissed and my team was upset. Then early the next week he came back saying he messed up and asked for another chance. My idea was to tell him no way. You missed the chance. See ya. Unprofessional. A member of my team I trust insisted that we should swallow our pride and make the hire. We did and extended the offer. He has been one of the best hires we've ever made and has added a ton of value. The lesson: Swallow your pride sometimes and relax your "principals" or you might just miss out on something awesome. Your ego is the enemy. Being stubborn doesn't get you anywhere.

Heads up, @TalktoBPI app users! Today I made 2 separate transactions that the app claimed to have FAILED but they ACTUALLY SUCCEEDED!! It’s a good thing the first one this morning was to a close friend. When I thought the transaction failed, I transferred again and it was a success. Friend said he got the same amount twice!! I checked my records and both transfers did go through 🤯 I wasn’t able to take a screenshot of the initial failed transaction so I questioned myself and wondered if I had just imagined it?? But tonight when I made another transaction, the app AGAIN told me that it failed. I took a screenshot, checked my records and THE PAYMENT WENT THROUGH. Idk abt you but I think this is unacceptable.

Idk how Vp Leni would have fared if she is the president of the Philippines but one thing i’m sure of is that she won’t ask for 1.4BILLION pesos to travel the world. Not at this very difficult time when a LOT of filipinos are hungry. 🥹 ~ctto~
