@jamesrambin Sadly, I'm old enough to remember its original fate: the only reason the state ended up owning a piece of ridiculously choice dt real estate was bc of the S&L bust. IIRC it went fully bankrupt & was sold off for five cents on the dollar, which is how the state could afford it.
