We have been working with Jess our new Strategic Health Facilitator from the Kirklees Adult Learning Disability Health Service. We've written a new play all about Annual Health Checks acted out by our amazing LD Champions. All members got a free Annual Health Check & Health File.

Thanks to everyone who came down to the conference for national hate crime awareness week #nationalhcaw at huddersfield uni We really enjoyed giving our talk about how hate crime affects people with a learning disability. We loved listening to all the other talks too.

We had a great time today, looking round the brand-new accident and emergency unit up at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary. Our guys thought it looked much better. They really like the colour coding of the wards and the quiet waiting area for people.
