Number one thing I disliked about growing up in a small town: you purposely dress down b/c if your outfits are too cute you’ll be a spectacle and have to answer everyone’s “why are you so dressed up??” questions 🤦🏻‍♀️

You know what’s worse than missing another person? Missing parts of yourself you won’t ever get back. Parts of you that were taken by another. That were lost through trauma and grief. Mourning past versions of yourself has to be one of the deepest pains of the human experience.
