Our latest study, using imaging and stable isotope tracing, shows that PHD3 is essential for maintaining glucose metabolism in pancreatic beta cells during metabolic stress. A great effort by @DNikarus@FedeCuozzo and a fun collaboration with @tennantlab!

After much work our #COVID19 testing lab at @unibirmingham has started. In the photo you can see some of the team who has made it all possible. We’ll be helping @uhbtrust@BWC_NHS and @OFFICIALWMAS test their staff and get them back to work - aiming to deliver up to 10k tests/day
