@danganholic @EnjoyerPhos OMG thank you for such the explanation. i still would argue that's more themeing than specific character writing but you are right, and i have played v3 less than the others so. makes sense! like the protag subversion and the meta narrative of the game.. awesome. ty.

@kittyconfidant @EnjoyerPhos I do think Eito is the best written character in hndr and one of the best written by Kodaka, but Shuichi is a year-long critique of consumerism. It's not even close.

After seeing you guys' Hundred Line Grid trends I'm learning that half this fandom thinks Eito is an overrated character

@danganholic @EnjoyerPhos i 100% agree on v3 being misunderstood I think it may be objectively the best dgr game tbh but I cannot wrap my mind around how shuichi plays into that, he's great I like him allot but I don't see how he serves the narrative to be called the BEST. is there a specific reason?

@EnjoyerPhos I'm really sorry but I'm really adamant on this. The main problem with the Danganronpa fandom is not understanding V3 at an overall level at all, ESPECIALLY Shuichi. Then again I'm already at peace with this since the same happens at a smaller level (llamas with hats)

twitter discourse is stupid but tbh detailed discussions of hypothetical ethics are probably one of the most constructive conversations we could be having like if everybody is talking all the time why not get philosophical with it. this IS philosophy btw.
