@kittytale2 I used to try to draw again but gave up eventually but now I'm giving a second attempt rn and try to learn it and from what I've learned so far is that having a reference and try to imitate, or rather, learn from that references is quite essential. So maybe I should try this out

@Truerootstwiter Yeeeee, especially with characters who are either fully or partially roboticized because you know logically those characters at least the parts of them that are roboticized our immune from the virus

@kittytale2 Top right reminds me that the metal virus was a carry over from the Archie days. Makes me wonder what it could’ve looked like in that universe - with so many more established characters there was all the more unique dynamics they could play with/have as survivors.

@JessieMorg29303 My biggest thing with rotor isn’t that I don’t like him is that I just don’t know what to do with him a lot of the time because he didn’t get a lot of major arcs, which sucks

If you watch his dynamic with Sonic in SatAM, he's more laid-back than Sonic but at the same time, seems to use many of the same mannerisms and turns-of-phrase as him. He very much comes across as the Freedom Fighters' older brother. He and Sonic have an understated rapport with each other that most people don't really know about since it's been buried after years of him being considered "redundant" by the fanbase. Rotor's not redundant, and he frankly deserves far better. He and Tails may both turn out to be inventors, but to say that he's useless because "Tails fills his role" is inaccurate. He in fact was an inventor in SatAM long before Tails came into the role under Sega's direction. Simply put, it's a bizarre sentiment that the introduction of a younger sibling renders the older sibling useless. So the team has two inventors. So what? They're still bringing different roles to the dynamic of the Freedom Fighters. Tails doesn't fill Rotor's shoes because frankly, he just can't. Also, his reboot design SUCKS.
