@jeremiahjw I don’t think being 42 is correlated with it being easy, I know I would psychologically break from being forced to stay awake for multiple days and getting screamed at all the time
been in nyc for 1 month. here are my observations:
> SO many people
> everyones way friendlier than expected
> and younger
> you will be woken up by sirens at 3am
> trees are rare
> huge froyo scene ??
> people call the subway the train ?
@kitvolta His views that feminism was not an organic development but a "surrogate activity" designed by the technological system to manipulate human behavior for its own efficiency. Was one of the few parts I actually disagreed with #femenist
@kitvolta@RadNetworks was a really cool fest held at chemistry creative. If not totally security focused, definitely art and network focused and would have your kinda people… maybe less hardcore security
Pausing my shitposting to ask a legitimate question - what, if any, are good primers/workshops/courses on cyber security for someone to take to keep their shit safe when vibecoding
As the slop gets worse and surveillance gets more intense I am feeling like I need to get some basic training
@MarkIslako I can’t talk about my day job but believe me the vibe coding part for that is very corporate and boring
In my art practice I just make it write the code for me while I focus on visual and interaction design
early in my career I was lucky to be overseen by someone who was obsessed with this stuff but now that I’m not working at a tech company yet continue having to do tech things I am lacking some safety gear
