How do so many shows start without having an ending in mind?? I know there’s a lot that goes into making a show but I feel like having a good ending should be priority

@kiwikenneth7 bc they dont map out everything that happens. Sometimes they like to just play it by ear. See what happens with the story and see what makes for an ending that makes sense.

Eric Kripke says he has had the ending of ‘THE BOYS’ figured out since the middle of writing Season 3. “Amazon was well within their rights to say ‘no just keep making it as long as these guys are under contract.’ The fact they let us end it was really nice.”

@JamesWasTaken2 I’m not saying that, James. I understand it’s unrealistic to have everything planned out. I’m just wondering why it’s the norm for so many shows to ask a big question without having the final answer in mind. I was hoping someone with more industry knowledge would respond.

@SandySandsickle True. I wonder why they didn’t go through with Claire doing a big gesture for the Elizabeth. Especially since anthony was interested enough to ask her about it specifically at the end too. But I figure a lot gets cut for so many reasons

@kiwikenneth7 I think it didn’t go anywhere because Anthony didn’t pick up on it maybe. Or maybe it got cut because Amy does say “No relationship No herpes” To him in the end
