@PlanetGlitch87 @EmmanuelAcho @speakeasytlkshw As a Celtics fan I agree with Acho. Not about streaming in general but he just said this was his favorite season ever….. after blowing the first 3-1 lead in Celtics history. I get he was first option this year but that’s a ridiculous statement to make

@EmmanuelAcho @speakeasytlkshw Acho, this is a bad take. If he didn’t care, I can assure you he wouldn’t be on Twitch breaking down the game right after a loss. Sombody who doesn’t care would be at the club over seas somewhere

@river_dusty @W_B_Rick @jakemalasek I’m aware that’s not even close to the point I was saying. I’m saying that’s why in the nba they do not have the choice to play when they are injured. Owners and execs step in because there is way too much money to lose.

@kjkeepinit100 @W_B_Rick @jakemalasek It’s almost like the NBA generates way more revenue and mainstream interest than the NHL and that’s why the salaries are bigger. Not to mention they’re far less guys on a a basketball roster

@W_B_Rick @jakemalasek It’s also just that Tatum makes $60 million whereas the highest paid nhl player doesn’t make Derrick white money

@jakemalasek @W_B_Rick @Youre_Wrongg You do realize Tatum had 0 decision in not playing game 7. Not to be rude but if an NHL guy gets hurt it’s at most a $17 million a year that the team could get screwed out of. If Tatum gets hurt the Celtics are still paying him $60 million dollars. That is why it’s not his choice

Game 7 NBA Player: *sniffles* my knee has a bruise on it, I can’t play. NHL Player: My knee is literally falling off the bone and my labrum already detached itself from my shoulder. I’m playing.

@marryinghookers @LayneStaley1994 @hoodigainer All of those clips once again, fully impedes the players progress. You can hand check without fully impeding process, which was not called at the time. But you could not fully impede the players movement

The difference between Bron and Jordan fans is Bron fans know Jordan was good and Jordan fans legitimately think Bron isn’t a good basketball player

@marryinghookers @LayneStaley1994 @hoodigainer Close but different. Each of these calls they do not just “hand check” they fully impede the movement of the offensive player. At the time refs would allow hand checking but not if it impedes the players movement, starting in 1995 and fully in 2004 no hand checking was allowed

@Pats41088 @957thegame @Mark_T_Willard @WillardAndDibs Tbh was a “playoff” Sox fan for years. Know more than average person but far from an avid fan. Last year was the first year I watched most regular season games. Raffy was nothing but a whinny pos about the Bregman situation. But was there previous issue with Raffy?

@LayneStaley1994 @hoodigainer Exactly and because you can’t fully help over they get that step it’s a 2v1 against the center on the other team. And when you got hops like Clyde or Jordan it’s already over. Which I do truly think LeBron would’ve thrived in, although his assist numbers would take a hit

@kjkeepinit100 @hoodigainer That’s why players like Clyde also were scoring machines. They took advantage of their speedy first step

@LayneStaley1994 @hoodigainer But that was only if the offensive player was close enough to the defender. Because if they moved over that’s illegal defense. Which undoubtedly helped Jordan

@LayneStaley1994 @hoodigainer Oh 100% I still hate to this day that the nba got rid of handchecks. They also did not have a three second violation back then so big ass mfs just camped the pant

@LayneStaley1994 @hoodigainer Agreed 100% and it 100% helped him significantly that no one could help over. They had to double or leave him alone to iso and obviously no one could guard that man alone on an island

@LayneStaley1994 @hoodigainer But I will say the spacing back then really really sucked and that’s something I’m not sure how LeBron would respond too

@LayneStaley1994 @doomscroller77 @hoodigainer “Essentially”. Yes you had to hard double or no double. That means no backside help, no playing the passing lanes, no hedging screens. It doesn’t not allow you to double but it doesn’t allow you to do everything that makes a defense great. But spacing is better now I will admit

@LayneStaley1994 @jarrhead27 @hoodigainer “Essentially” don’t have enough words on Twitter to explain the rules completely. It doesn’t just do that it also it forces you to stay with your man so the backside help can’t rotate over before you get to the rim. Players were also unable to play the passing lanes too

@kjkeepinit100 @jarrhead27 @hoodigainer You are completely wrong. Those rules only limited HARD double teams. Not all double teams. Also, zone defenses were limited. You make shit up bro lol

@doomscroller77 @LayneStaley1994 @hoodigainer No I’m simplifying it because I don’t have enough words and I ain’t paying for Twitter. Essentially you had to fully commit to the double team, so you could not just play the lanes or fake a double team. They had to change these rules in 2004 because of shaq.
