Elon Musk is 100% right to take OpenAI to court. He co-founded OpenAI in 2015 as a nonprofit specifically to develop AGI for the benefit of all humanity — not to enrich any individual or corporation. He came up with the name, recruited the team, taught them what he knew, and put in ~$38 million of the earliest funding when no one else would. He chose a charity structure deliberately because he could have made it a for-profit from day one and didn’t. Yes, Musk left the board in 2018 after disagreements (including over control and structure). And yes, there were internal talks about a for-profit arm even back then — but only if the nonprofit stayed firmly in charge and the mission came first. The “tail doesn’t wag the dog.” What actually happened? After he stepped away, OpenAI did the exact opposite: created a capped-profit subsidiary, took massive Microsoft money, went fully closed-source, and is now racing toward a $1T+ IPO. They rebranded “Open” into one of the most closed, profit-driven AI companies on Earth while keeping the original nonprofit shell for optics. Musk isn’t suing for personal profit — he’s asking the court to return any wrongful gains to OpenAI’s charitable arm, revert the company to its nonprofit roots, and remove Altman and Brockman from leadership. That’s not “sour grapes.” That’s enforcing the promise the public was sold. In an age where AGI could shape humanity’s entire future, the original mission still matters. Elon is the only one still fighting to protect it instead of cashing out. Principle over profit. Humanity over hype.

$TSLA 내가 500만원 이하에서 계약한 모델YL을 취소한 이유 내차 21년산 미국산 모델Y(hw3.0+fsd구입) 네덜란드 되고 모델YL 구입하여 fsd이전하면 되겠지하고 모델YL공개일에 주문함 하지만 현토부 하는 꼴을 보니 한국에서 중국산 테슬라 fsd는 아직 멀었구나 차라리 hw3.0 lite가 더 먼저 될것 같다. 지금 타는 내차 21년산 미국산을 더 타기로 했다 라이트버젼 fsd가 되면 중고가격도 올라 가겠지 진짜 우리 나라 자율주행은 현토부때문에 후진국이 될것이다.

Once you actually try the latest Tesla FSD, you can’t look at the road the same way again. Every time I’m cruising along with FSD handling the traffic, the stops, the lane changes, and all the little surprises that pop up, I glance over at the other cars and it always hits me. There they are… regular folks glued to the steering wheel, one foot dancing between the gas and brake, eyes flicking around and often times even sneaking a look at their phone. This often makes me a bit nervous for everyone around them, NGL. It’s NOT that people are bad drivers on purpose… we’re all just human. We get tired after a long day, distracted for half a second, frustrated in traffic, or we just misjudge something. The stats back that up - human error is behind something like 94% of all crashes. FSD doesn’t have those problems… Tesla AI stays focused every single mile, sees way more than we ever could, and reacts faster than any person. Tesla’s latest numbers prove cars using FSD get into a major collision only about once every 5.3 million miles, while the average driver has one crash every 660,000 miles or so. That’s roughly eight times safer. This is a FACT. After you’ve felt how smooth and calm it is, normal driving starts to feel very risky by comparison. You notice the constant little swerves, the late braking, the drifting lanes… and you realize most people are still out there doing it the old way. And I don’t know if it’s really their fault, they just haven’t adapted to new technology nor tried the better way yet. But damn, once you try FSD, it really changes how you see every car on the road. Tesla FSD really needs to be everywhere on Earth… it would save so many lives.

Anyone claiming that Tesla's capital expenditures in 2026 are too high and pose a risk doesn't understand what a company's assets are. Cash alone does not create any returns or profits. However, when invested in a high-growth company infrastructure and new businesses and factories, it generates returns and profits. Tesla does not invest money in a business that creates losses but profits therefore the cash invested is good for shareholders indeed much better than cash in the bank. A company that uses its capital wisely creates shareholder value—even if its cash flow is temporarily negative. Tesla has an all time high cash wallet and using some of it to expand the business is exactly what I expect from a profitable growth company.
