Area Meet: This past Wednesday we had 17 athletes compete in the Area Track Meet at East View HS. We had several athletes earn top 4 finishes in their events, and punch their ticket to the Regional Track Meet in 2 weeks. We also had a number of athletes earn top 6 finishes.

3 new school records were set this week by the following athletes: Kayla Scott - Long Jump with a jump of 18'5" Marianne Zorilla - Pole Vault with a vault of 12' Nate Cochran - Shot Put with a throw of 53'2". @LeanderisdATH @VistaRidgeHS

This weekend the Rangers competed  in the Canyon Cougar Relays. Kayla Scott broke the school record in the 300 meter hurdles with a time of 45.64 and Marianne Zorilla broke her own school record in pole vault with a vault of 13'

She did it again! Kayla Scott breaks her own school record with a time of 15.07 at the Texas A&M Bluebonnet High School Invitational.

So blessed to have had the opportunity to compete against 40 of the best girls in the country at the Junior Olympics in my 2nd ever hepathlon!! 6th place finish, All American status, and this new journey is just beginning and I'm excited to see what it will bring! Total: 4,179
