Cats like silicone and rubber. Please. Don't let them play with anything along the lines of this (hair ties, vape stops, tiny toys) This really does happen and it kills them. Thankfully this baby has another chance and they caught it.

An animal shelter in Florida took in a cat who was up for euthanasia due to needing intestinal surgery. They volunteered to do it and found that Midnite had eaten 26 hair ties. She made it out of surgery and is expected to make a full recovery.
