🧩I am very happy to receive this award. Thank you to the players and industry friends for their recognition. Only one out of seven award nominations has been received, which proves that we still need to work harder and continue to do our job!🏄♀️

We are thrilled to announce that #BlackMythWukong has won Best Visual Art award at the 2024 Game Developers Choice Awards. We are deeply grateful for the recognition from our peers worldwide, the incredible efforts of all our colleagues and partners, and the unwavering support of every player! Our team was on a company trip during the event, or we could have been there in person to accept the award😳. #GDC2025

@TongkatAliGirl Yes, mostly use it on the face. Proxy mesh works with the shader :)
English

@kknu101 Noted, but got a question since I’m very new at this about adjusting normal - does this only apply to the face?
So far, I’ve not come across anyone mentioning the need to adjust the hair, body, weapon, etc.
Also, does proxy mesh works with your shader?

Hi, would like find out more about how easily to setup the outline in your shader. Does it involves complicated blueprint setup or just enable it through the shader?
Also, does your shader uses SDF or rely on normal adjustments/proxy mesh to achieve clean shadow?
Lastly, can you do a video to show how the outline will look like when at different angle at various part of the body, including face & hair?

@TongkatAliGirl Hello, if your indie game is going to be released later / to make a profit, the commercial version is needed. To make up the difference, you can use this link: workkk.gumroad.com/l/ychyn
English

Hi, I didn’t know there’s a commercial version at a different pricing tier. The non commercial version can’t be used for indie game developer? If yes, then if I were buy the non commercial to test out & all works great, then would like to upgrade to the commercial version, will I still need to pay full price or discounted (minus the non-commercial price)? Please let me know. Thanks.

@TongkatAliGirl It should work on Mac too. Gumroad is recommended by modelers I know so I currently still use it as the main platform. I’ll consider listing it on FAB later.
English

@kknu101 Hi, does this shader works on Mac system? Also, why not list it on FAB so that I can purchase directly from there?
English

@kknu101 Congratulations on being featured!!
