this past week i enjoyed a much needed break & was greatly inspired by incredible people. i am so grateful i had the opportunity to link up & spend quality time with new (previously only online) as well as old friends alike. reminiscing while rewatching @btconf talks.. 🤓💜

for clarification: i.. .. usually sleep in. .. have slow mornings. .. take (brain) breaks after each meeting. .. have a generous lunch break (siesta). .. have work spread over 10-12 hours. .. do extended walk/errands in the afternoon. .. work better when i start with focus time.

i feel physically sick. head ache. tense neck. nauseous. i feel queasy. 🥴 lesson learned. my brain is different. it works differently. it needs more & proper (brain) breaks. more variety. next time it makes me sad i am not functioning like others, i will come back to this. ❤️

i did it. i functioned like a proper "normal" person today. got up at 7. started work at 8:30. had a few meetings in between coding. 30 minutes lunch break (prepped yesterday). more meetings. pair programming. 17:00 end of work day. ..and let me tell you. my brain is not happy.

for clarification: my brain thrives under pressure, with challenge, when it comes to my passions.. my brain fails me in regards of consistency, the mundane, things that seem boring/unchallenging.. gonna go hibernate for a bit. ✌☺
