Happy Birthday to @Cal alum Jared Goff, @CalFootball's starting quarterback 2013-2015. Goff was the second Cal player to be the #1 overall pick in the NFL draft. He led the Rams to Super Bowl LIII in 2019 and is now the pride of the Detroit Lions.

Ida Louise Jackson, @Cal BA 1922, MA 1923, was born October 12, 1902 in Mississippi. She was the first Black woman public school teacher in California & later earned a PhD at Columbia. In 1934 she founded the Mississippi Health Project to bring mobile health care to rural areas.
