@RebeccaZandberg Same problem many places in the vicinity of the university. Have a look at this spot on Western Road, southbound, between the mega Uni parking lot, Brescia and Ivey

PSA: The Canadian mainstream right (Conservative Party of Canada) is left of moderate US Republicans on healthcare, guns & multilateralism. The mainstream left (Liberal Party of Canada) Is left of Mainstream US Democrats on most things.
👉 US politics is further right on healthcare, guns, old age care compared to rest of G7

“US senator from Nunavut”?🤔 👉If each of the 10 Canadian provinces joined = 20 senators (most left of Democrat mainstream)😗

Monday, discussed the Nazi rise to power in 1930/32 with a very eager high school class in Germany. Let's learn to recognize the dangers, and act when there is time.
I will speak on the same subject at the IBRG of @tuBraunschweig on Friday. Invitation: tu-braunschweig.de/ibrg

@FT This quote from your article is more to the point: "Few Americans win the big prizes. Many others end up overworked and unhappy, albeit in big houses and cars". Focus more on medians that on averages in your analysis!

Europeans and Americans do things differently. Europeans have more time, and Americans more money. It is a cop-out to say which you prefer is a matter of taste. So which do you prefer? on.ft.com/3JGV8fq

"London Bridge is burning ..." gets a whole new meaning thanks to @canadianpacific railways #ldnont
Still no answers on how it could spread to five moving rail cars without being noticed by the crew. Don't they have fire alarms.

Curious how little public debate there is in Canada on a key decision with centuries-long consequences on #nuclear #waste storage. Elsewhere, potential leakages and safety of transports are mega concerns. Not just for a local council.

I stopped making any new investments through them - obviously. But how can I entrust @scotiabank my money even simple mistakes are not acknowledged – even after years?
English

Six years ago @Scotiabank issued a supplementary credit card no pin code, card was never activated. I requested replacement but issued an additional card. Every year since @scotiabank charges me $50 for the non-operational card. Every year I complain: Nothing changes.
English

Last year I spend one hour (!) talking with the advisor . I made it clear that I extremely angry. She recorded the issue, and went on trying to sell me other services, and referred me to @ScotiaWealth. I spend another hour with them.
English

The original problem was that @scotiabank staff issued a new card instead of replacing the card to which we had no pin code. So, it was their mistake, which they never acknowledged. They didn't reimburse the excess fees. They didn't even cancel the card.
