.@atmosenergy is working an incident in the 200 block of Plantation Dr., and some residents were asked to evacuate as a precaution. Everyone impacted has been contacted. A need for further evacuations has NOT been identified. Please avoid the area to allow crews to investigate.

The reason why I am independent and advocate a life-long career is because for me, "creating things" is no longer a job. That's why there is no retirement. Creating things is living. One more thing. In the game industry, there are very few people who have succeeded in becoming independent from a major game production studio, whether in Japan or abroad. Even eight years ago, when I started my own company, I was opposed by everyone, including my peers, colleagues, and relatives, who said, "It will never work!”. They said it was impossible without the financial and organizational strength of a company. However, someone must prove that that is an old-fashioned way of thinking. Young creators must be given freedom of choice. This is one of the reasons why I continue to "create things”.

What I read this week VI...American post-tax income inequality has hardly risen at all since the 1960s I recently torpedoed a dinner party arguing the fact that rising income inequality in the US is just not a real thing. This will break so many people’s brains. The system is working. You are being misguided by people who have a fundamental misunderstanding of the facts. I also continue to believe that judging people based on their DNA is not a recipe for equality, but just the opposite. Content of character (thank you MLK) and merit of the individual should be our north star. Race blind policies that seek to help all lower income people will disproportionally help people of color and will be more popular and therefore more likely to get passed thereby being a more effective strategy. "American society is so focused on race that it is blind to class"- but ya’ll ain’t ready for that conversation. Should we pray to the DOD? I was in a heated vinyasa yoga class and in the middle of it we took a break from the poses and the instructor asked us to appreciate this moment. Appreciate that we took time out of our day to give to ourselves. Appreciate how we came to be in this room and how the universe allowed this to happen. And all I could think was, does it occur to anyone in here to pray to the Marines? We can sit in a heated room and "self care" ourselves to death in a safe and stable environment protected from adversaries and terrorists who seek to destroy our way of life. Maybe it's not the universe or ourselves that gave us these things, maybe it's people deeply based in reality that understand safety is only attained by having the biggest gun- the strongest military.
