@xenappblog The concept of a PAW is always frustrating from the admin standpoint because it becomes a hassle. Do you think there is an alternative option, perhaps containerized virtual apps, or something that provides security isolation without compromising on experience?

Saturday @MSIntune lab work. Setting up dedicated physical PAW device, admin account & dual admin approval. PAWS will be striped of everything and locked down. $30 @Yubico arrived overnight.

I guess it depends what you’re testing. A separate ‘representative’ environment it great… but I hardly see it. Probably exclusion groups in tandem with test groups for the policy, app etc - but it can get complicated Sometimes I go full on and use a separate autopilot tag and test right from build stage.

In an Entra ID + Intune environment, what method do you use to test things before putting them into production? Do you use exclusion groups in applications, configurations, etc.? What is your procedure? Thanks. #MSIntune #EntraID

@Mouxy @jonnokid If they are already in place for MacOs then you don’t need to do a PoC 🤣 I’d just look at what’s there and pick and choose what you need. There’s a decent selection of MacOs shell scripts etc on the MS GitHub site.

I spent a week in Vietnam in the summer. Great place, insanely cheap, but there’s still a decent western ex pat population. I was in Ho Chi Minh City - very cosmopolitan. It would be a culture change though and if you could deal with that and the time zone then you could be onto a winner!
