Hello everyone. In this morning's Bible study we continue our journey down the road to understanding biblical foundational truths; What about our bodies? There has been over the centuries, especially in the early church, a misunderstanding of the physical body. In many of the Roman aligned and former Greek cities, we must remember just how pagan these people truly were. Unlike today, the people of cities like Corinth open worshipped and bowed to many false deities and their so-called images which were carved out of stone. Today, many of us would find that practice repugnant however during the first century it was repugnant not to bow to statues. Corinth was also a very very immoral city hence many of its residents who were being saved had this type of background. They used their bodies to perform and practice some of the most horrific religious and sexual deviancy. After being born again and being reformed by the preaching of the gospel and the teaching of the word of God, there came some of the religious gentiles and Jews who brought in with them false doctrine. One of the false doctrines was that physical matter is evil but the spirit is good. This basically meant that since the physical body was evil, the believer was free from obedience because the body was evil. This of course is a false doctrine as there is nothing inherently evil regarding our physical bodies. Then what is God's perspective on our physical bodies. 1 Corinthians 3:16-17 (NKJV) 16 Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? 17 If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are. 2 Corinthians 6:16 (NKJV) 16 And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will dwell in them and walk among them. I will be their God, and they shall be My people.” Our bodies are God's temple whom He uses to minister the truth of the gospel and declare His attributes. Hence our bodies are not to be used for evil nor our own purposes but for the glory of the One who called us out of darkness and into His most glorious light, the Lord Jesus Christ. Today's study is 1 hour and 21 minutes in duration. I have broken it into 10 segments. This is segment 10 of 10 titled God calls our bodies out of the world and flesh represented by Egypt Part 2 Episode 1766: God calls our bodies out of the world and flesh represente... youtu.be/B7VS9nBwuJI?si… via @YouTube

Hello everyone. In this morning's Bible study, we take a look at why the LORD God created angels and humans. Was this because the LORD was lonely and wanted companionship? If that is the case then why did He allow evil, wickedness, and sin? What is the point in allowing sin, suffering, and death just to have companionship? Well, if that was true then you would have a valid point. However, since neither of those things are true then your point is irrelevant. The LORD God did not create all things for companionship since He is a triune Being who already had and continually have fellowship within the Godhead. The scriptures declares that God is love. You cannot be love if there is no object of your affectionate love. The LORD God does have two objects of love, His Son Christ Jesus the Lord, and His Spirit the Holy Spirit. They love each other within the Godhead. Then what is the purpose for creation and the things that are happening within creation. DEMONSTRATION. What? Demonstration? Yes! The LORD God has determined to demonstrate His righteousness bringing by necessity the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus as well as holy angels, Satan and demons, believers and unbelievers, sin and grace, mercy and wrath, justification and justice. Friend, that is what's going on in this world. Today's study is 1 hour and 22 minutes in duration. I have broken it into nine segments. This is segment 5 of 9 titled The LORD calls the LORD of hosts His Redeemer Why does the LORD need a Redeemer? Hello everyone. In this morning's Bible study we will take the time to explain why the sinner CANNOT repent or believe. Of course every time I say something along these lines there are many people who becomes very upset with me because they truly believe that the wicked, wretched, God hating sinner has the ability to suddenly love God. The one thing that always stop them in their track is when I ask a very simple series of questions. 1. Does the scriptures teach that the sinner is dead? 2. Since the sinner is dead how can the sinner repent? 3. From where does the sinner get the authority and power to raise himself from the dead? They can never answer me or they will give a response that is not in the Bible. That is the problem with mixing feelings with the word of God. If you lean more on your feelings then you will make God a liar. Be very careful friends. Today's study is one hour and 14 minutes in duration. I have broken it into nine segments. This is segment 9 of 9 titled The sinner has 8 problems. 7 and 8. The sinner SLAVE TO SIN and ARE HATERS OF GOD Episode 1748: The sinner has 8 problems. 7 and 8.
