I will say again that Celtic’s moment -conceptually - to become ‘modern’ was Dominic Mackay. The problem was, *thinking* you want change and actually changing are two different things. Consequently, discomfort forced DD to snap back to what he knows — to our and the club’s severe detriment.

There are genuinely only 6 or 7 players in our entire squad who should be anywhere near close to our starting XI next season. Three of those are injury prone. The scale of the overhaul we require can’t be underestimated.

The other very glaring issue we have is we're just a very basic team under current management. Hate to say it, love MON, but the game has definitely moved on from him. This basic style plays in straight lines, zero rotations and way too many punts. Petrol and a lighter needed
