Let me start by saying that everything about this Kim Soohyun issue looks like a dark comedy atp. I still have reservations about it, but since then, I realized how things can easily get distorted and people believe it in the blink of an eye. Let's live our own lives. At first, everyone blamed GM/KSH for the debt issue that drove KSR to the edge and even accused them of extorting from her. Now it’s clear that the debt was written off over a year ago, and they were flagged during the audit of the undocumented loss bc they can’t show any proof that she’s not able to pay back the said debt. They rightfully followed due process, or else their company execs would also be at risk if they didn’t, and she was made aware of this. Now everyone is coming at anyone in this “he dated a minor” narrative. Atm only KSH was able to provide details on where and when these photos were taken. Grooming? If the family can’t even provide the correct relationship timeline based on the photos they released, can they even provide factual evidence for this? It can happen through constant online and offline communication. If online, it should be easy to trace. Offline, they should also be able to provide factual evidence of KSH being with her on several occasions. But “he waited for her to become an adult” like should he have pursued her when she was a minor? We’re going in circles here. Don’t even get me started with the nitpicking of what they wore in these photos bc it gets funnier everytime. Then you have the "he shouldn't have liked her in the first place bc she's a minor" like before you comment on this, go out, look around you, and you'll see how common it is for someone to like a person many think they shouldn't like. If the family can’t even provide proof of this when they’re the ones accusing him, then it can be taken as a consensual relationship between adults. If this were true, as parents, would you even allow your minor daughter date a grown man? Your child is a minor and under your care, so why didn’t you say something before? Even though the age of consent was 13, if it were true he dated her since she was 15, it would have been more convenient to reveal this when it was happening like "hey guys here's a picture of a grown a** man dating my minor daughter against her will" and that would've solved the problem. It wasn't the 80s and more people were on the internet at that time. Then everyone shifted to the issue that GM denied the relationship several times and suddenly admitted. Read, like really read and comprehend, the denial statements again. They denied the “current rumors” last year when the IG story was posted. They recently denied that he dated her as a minor. There was no denial they had a relationship in the past. What is there to talk about? They’re called exes for a reason. Just 2(?) days ago the said family allegedly told that Youtuber not to release anything because they're afraid KSH might do something drastic. And now they want him to apologize bc “he promised she would marry her” like bruh, just stop. If he said that during their relationship, and if you haven't been in an actual rs yet, you’d be surprised how many people say this promise to someone they thought they would marry. Then they want him to apologize bc he cut off any contact with her, so are we supposed to still talk to our ex regularly? And now they want GM to acknowledge that she was a founding member. She was hired as an employee (artist) after the company was founded. What do they want next, company shares? That channel was created for political reasons, now sensationalizing a story that's too personal to share. And, of course, how could I forget the donations they receive every time they go live because they're going to reveal another photo? Need I say more? Last January KSR posted a photo of her with a man and immediately deleted bc of the hate she got online. There's also this alleged "last painting" she did and if true, it's disturbing. She was obviously mentally struggling bc of the noise around her when she tried to bounce back. She needed help. Do we expect an ex to take care of that too? Everyone just failed her and is still failing her. Instead of honoring her quietly, her family is now ILLEGALLY distributing intimate photos of their daughter's past relationship in the guise of cleaning her name and claiming her honor while ruining the honor of another person. This is hypocrisy at its core. If they really wanted to, they should've done this in a better way to let their daughter finally rest in peace. This is Soohyun's and Saeron's story of the past. Not their family's. Not ours. Now that one of them is gone, we will never know the full story, no matter what opinion we have about it. I've been a fan of KSH since his Dream High days, and ever since I always remind myself that it's just about his works. The same with any other artist that I like. They're in the entertainment industry, and they entertain us with their talent and artistry. We don't own them. Anything they do in their personal lives is their business. If they're proven in the right venue to be doing something wrong, then they will be judged and punished accordingly. If you're not comfortable supporting him anymore, walk away quietly. Block him, block all the people who still support him. But calling him names online, commenting on his posts wishing for his demise, and posting bullying words against him is no better than the person you just called names. Don't get me with your morals if all you do is judge and spread hate anywhere. Do we want another tragedy to make us realize where it went wrong? When will we ever learn?

The publicly disclosed 32-page warrant request could not possibly have been hastily drafted for the purpose of obstructing coverage of a certain politician. Despite this, Mr. Kim Seui’s assertion that the warrant request suddenly became political persecution after his broadcasts about the politician is nothing more than a baseless argument that completely ignores both the chronological order of events and the basic structure of criminal procedure. ◇ Some media outlets are also heavily covering Mr. Kim Seui’s claim that “the National Forensic Service concluded the AI manipulation issue was inconclusive, so how can the police and prosecution determine it was manipulated?” However, the claim that the National Forensic Service’s analysis result was “inconclusive” merely originated from the spread of a past media report. To date, the forensic report itself has not been disclosed, nor has its contents been officially confirmed. Furthermore, investigative agencies are not bound by the conclusions of the National Forensic Service, nor are their judgments based solely on technical analysis. In addition to technical review, investigative authorities comprehensively assess factors such as how the recording was delivered and obtained, the authenticity of its contents, the surrounding circumstances and context, related statements, confessions, and objective evidence in determining credibility and whether manipulation occurred. Therefore, if the police and prosecution determined at the warrant application stage that the recording had been manipulated, such a conclusion should be understood as a comprehensive judgment based on various evidence, testimony, and circumstances secured during the investigation, not simply on the forensic analysis alone. An arrest warrant request only contains the investigative authorities’ conclusions; it does not detail every piece of evidence and testimony supporting those conclusions. The relevant evidence will ultimately be reviewed by the court through the case records. ◇ Regarding the recording that investigators judged to have been AI-manipulated, the public cannot know all of the investigative authorities’ specific reasoning at this stage. However, we will point out several objective circumstances. The recording in question was allegedly provided by an individual known as “Cali Park,” who claimed to have been attacked by a hired killer allegedly acting under instructions from actor Kim Soohyun. However, as stated in the disclosed warrant request, the claims regarding a hired killer and an attack on the recording provider are entirely false. The individual is currently missing, and it is known that the original recording file has not been submitted. Furthermore, during the same period, the individual provided three different versions of files, claiming them to be conversations with the late late Kim Saeron, to Mr. Kim Seui, YouTuber Lee Jinho, and actor Kim Soohyun’s agency. However, despite all the files containing the late Kim Saeron’s voice, the progression of the conversations differed from the very beginning, including the greetings exchanged upon first meeting. The placement and flow of identical sentences also did not match. In other words, the mere existence of multiple different versions of recordings provided by the same person strongly suggests that these recordings are not original recordings of a single real conversation. This circumstance strongly, in fact almost conclusively, indicates the possibility that the recordings were edited or fabricated afterward. Moreover, during the same period, the individual also approached Kim Soohyun’s agency, claiming to possess recordings favorable to the actor and demanding money. That person is currently missing. Even based on these circumstances alone, it is difficult to trust the recordings as authentic voice recordings of the late Kim Saeron. ◇ Since the investigative authorities determined the recordings to be AI-manipulated, it is also possible that they have already secured confessions or statements equivalent to confessions from relevant individuals. However, even if that is not yet the case, there is still a relatively clear method to verify this issue. Specifically, investigators can confirm whether the late Kim Saeron actually met the individual at the time and place where the recording allegedly occurred. If the mobile phone the late Kim Saeron used before her death is secured, this could be relatively easily verified through location data, transportation and communication records, and contact history. However, according to the disclosed warrant request, the bereaved family did not submit the mobile phone Kim Saeron had been using immediately before her death, including during January 2025, when the recording was allegedly made. Ultimately, despite circumstances already strongly suggesting the recordings may have been edited or fabricated, the suspects continue denying the allegations and the key piece of evidence, the mobile phone, has still not been submitted. Under such circumstances, investigative authorities may reasonably conclude that there is an even greater need to swiftly detain the key suspects in order to secure evidence and prevent collusion or destruction of evidence. ◇ In summary, this is the issue: If the recording manipulation is clearly established, then this case goes beyond manipulated KakaoTalk messages and extends into deep-voice evidence fabrication, making the need for detention extremely significant. Conversely, even if the KakaoTalk manipulation is clearly established but the audio manipulation issue still requires additional investigation, despite the considerable circumstances strongly suggesting fabrication as discussed above and despite the suspects continuing to deny it, the conclusion does not change. In fact, in that case, the necessity for custodial investigation may become even greater. As already shown through the circumstances surrounding the KakaoTalk manipulation and the indictment process involving the bereaved family’s attorney, this case strongly bears the characteristics of an organized and premeditated conspiracy crime, with substantial concerns regarding collusion and destruction of evidence among those involved. Therefore, contrary to Mr. Kim Seui’s claims, this issue does not weaken the necessity for detention but rather strengthens the need for a custodial investigation. ◇ At this point, this is a matter for investigative authorities and the courts to determine based on records and evidence. To present the results of a lengthy investigation conducted according to evidence and procedure alongside the unilateral claims of a suspect, without proper verification, risks undermining public trust in state institutions and their judgments without basis, potentially causing unnecessary confusion and incitement.
