🔵 The club can confirm that Fraser Fyvie has made the difficult decision to retire from professional football. After careful consideration, Fraser has chosen to step away from the game following ongoing issues with multiple injuries. Despite his determination to continue playing, the cumulative impact of these injuries has made recovery after matches increasingly challenging. This was not a decision taken lightly - Fraser explored every avenue before ultimately deciding that the time was right to prioritise his long-term health and wellbeing. Everyone at the club would like to place on record our sincere thanks to Fraser for his outstanding contribution, dedication and professionalism. @rosspilcher Celtic have been praised for selling players for big money over the years but during that time they’ve wasted loads of signings that didn’t have the same impact.

@rosspilcher It’s not really that deep. Signing players from abroad will always be a risk some will kick on others won’t. We’ve spent £600k on Bowie and sold him for 10 times that in 18 months. Paid £1m for Kledje and it hadn’t worked out, we’ll get a fee back for him. Win some lose some.

@The_Tman10 You’ve counted another 2 cos it’s sounding worse than just the last 6. The 4 games prior to that we won beat champions elect Hearts, Aberdeen and Killie and drew with the best team in the league Mwell. I know the last 2 aren’t good enough but it’s not a collapse 😂

@kmurdy22 You not counting Dundee United & Rangers no? 🤣 Not good enough for Hibs if you are happy then fine. In my opinion this expensively assembled squad is underachieving massively and will now struggle to finish in the top 4. Add to that papped out both cups early doors. 👍🏻

@The_Tman10 It’s 3 wins in 6 also. Regardless of how you want to make your headlines we’ve lost our last 2, anyone can lose 1-0 to a championship team in cup tie and quite frankly Falkirk can beat anyone on their day. 2 bad results absolutely. Collapse is over the top tho.
