To address the topic: during the last Cardano Summit in Dubai, @get_revuto had a booth and held a masterclass to announce the launch of debit cards for subscription payments supporting #Cardano tokens. The product was available to anyone from the EEA + UK who applied for private beta testing or asked us to unlock the feature. 120 people applied, of whom a few made an effort to provide valuable feedback. The testing period was necessary to improve the user experience, which was mostly connected to the onboarding process (KYC and compliance questionnaire) and topping up with other cards. At the time, #Revuto already announced the switch to Visa Debit cards due to its partnership with card issuing, payment, and banking provider Linkcy/Paynovate. Although Revuto finds Visa and MasterCard valuable partners, we don’t dictate the card scheme supporting our products. On May 27th, Visa debit cards will be available for any Revuto user from the EEA and UK. For the card top-up, users can use $ADA and $REVU, alongside using other debit/credit cards stored with the Revuto app. Those two cryptocurrencies are the first we allow for the card(s) top-up, while other cryptocurrencies can be used for the same, too, but via the swap feature within the app. If other Cardano wallets like Tokeo or Gyro don’t launch before May 27th (I believe they partnered with Mercuryo for the MasterCard debit card issuing), Revuto will be the first to offer $ADA and Cardano Token(s) for the direct debit cards top-up. Still, I need to address how there are many other debit cards supporting crypto and allowing users to use $ADA for FIAT payments or ATM withdrawals. Companies like @kucoin and @Gate_io issue debit cards connected to their exchanges where you can exchange any token listed on their exchange to make a card top-up, including $ADA, in the case of Kucoin even some Cardano tokens listed on their exchange and paired to $USDT.
