To this day I'm not even sure how it happened lol i got into it via a lottery affordable housing program that i applied to among many, many other places.

Another time I was newly divorced (cut off financially, no help, kicked out by in laws, jobless) and was doing an errand in downtown. I saw a luxury high-rise being built and made a (very delulu/shoot ur shot) duaa for an apartment there. Moved in the following year.

One time I was running late to an important class. I was hauling ass otw and made a specific duaa for God to place baraka in my time. I got there, no one was there. I had missed daylight savings, had an extra 45 min, got a coffee & bagel and came back with time to spare 😂

I'm exhausted with this debate but I think it's actually mysoginistic to denigrate women who want a natural birth and if you think like this you should kick rocks all the way off a steep cliff.

I can't fathom why "natural birth" is something to aspire to. Why are so many women obsessed with the idea of not having pain management during a major medical event like what does that accomplish

I try to be sympathetic to mistrust given the history of the healthcare system towards women, but healthcare is just one of dozens of areas where women justify and campaign for their own harm on a mass scale for no reason, and it infuriates me idc.

I'm very interested in medical misinformation and how it disproportionately affects women. I can't find it in me to respect experiences like "i enjoyed the pain, it felt ancient like I knew it before" it sounds silly and no man has ever said that when getting circumcised.

@kenzietuff Yeah birth is a medical event (derogatory), that doesn't mean it's not meant to happen or it's unnatural, it means there are significant health implications. Why moralize this
