@gmail Yep. Happens all the time in the browser. Put the mouse cursor in an area where it would be over a conversation in the quick select list, hit / to start searching, and type away. When recommendations pop up, key strokes start getting interpreted as shortcuts rather than input.

I watched the Boeing documentary on Netflix, and it really is striking watching another company experience a culture shift from believing they were doing the right thing to caring only about shareholder value.

engs who need to get to SF 10th floor without badge access, rather than getting past security and up the elevator from ground floor, i'd suggest landing a chopper on the 9th floor outdoor courtyard, breaching cafeteria doors and a quick sprint up stairs to 10th floor. good luck!

After unbelievable 6+ years run with this bird app, it's finally time to say goodbye. I've been cared, taught, loved in this family, from a new grad knowing nothing, socially awkward, sweat like hell in 1:1 with my manager, to a relatively ok engineer, a Twitter trained engineer.
