@sacraamarte @SpiralOSINT Athena was his biggest advocate and ally from the side of the gods. Without her, both Odysseus and Telemachus would have died.

@sacraamarte @SpiralOSINT It's about man vs fate. The gods do not control fate but they play a huge part in it. Odysseus' fate was to be away from home x2 as long as he was supposed to. His actions angered Poseidon which set in motion the chain of events that prevented him from reaching home.
