@graeme_cobb In my 50s , no licence . Never driven . When I learn and pass it will be in an automatic e-vehicle .. and I’ll still walk / cycle / bus / train when it’s the right thing to do . I think thinking like this is growing in all generations . Old and young

A while ago I posted about my friend in his 50’s who was learning to drive. I accompanied him every weekend for extra lessons in his own car, a 2020 Peugeot e208. It’s rather nice. Last week he passed his driving test and for him the future is electric. He never wants to own any kind of car with an internal combustion engine and didn’t see the point in a manual gearbox. I wonder whether this is what the next generation of learners will think in a few years. ⚡️⚡️⚡️

@northernassist been a passenger on your levenshulme to Piccadilly service for 30 years . Generally it’s great . Not here to complain about overcrowding or cancelled /delayed trains etc . It’s just the recent leaving the station process . It’s slow and I miss the metro connection
