This week we’ve been celebrating Transgender Visibility. Many pupils and staff have signed our Trans flag to show their support and allyship, and we’ve been having some important conversations in regi about how Trans Rights are Human Rights. 👏 @knoxacademy @knoxacademyHT

This week Knox Academy are celebrating LGBT History Month. Each day we are learning about LGBT role models throughout history. Today we are looking at Alan Turing, one of the men who helped us win WWII 🏳️‍🌈

Today is Purple Friday and is named after the purple stripe on the LGBT rainbow flag & represents “spirit” - the spirit of the LGBT community & their allies. Pupils are encouraged to wear purple or anything colourful to celebrate the LGBT+ community at Knox Academy @knoxacademy
