Every two years our qualified teams need to requalify with Lowland Rescue. Today handlers Mel and Search Dog Shanti did just that. It takes a huge amount of dedication not just to achieve this level but maintaining. We are lucky in Sussex to have 6 qualified search dogs.

Big thanks to Gemma at @Optivet and @GroveLodgeVets for looking after me so well today. I had a penetrating eye injury to my eye today whilst training. Luckily (we think) not through the Cornea. Back on Wednesday for a follow up. I’m resting up for now. #lucky

Was very brave at the vets this morning, 5 grass seeds lurking down my spaniel ears. All removed and no sedation needed 🤍 thank you @Medivet_UK (Worthing) #koda 🐾 Ps…can’t use the excuse can’t hear mum anymore when she calls me, if I don’t come I’m just being a norty spaniel!
