acc to śaiva siddhāntins, tamil & sanskrit emerged from each side of śiva’s ḍamaru. acc to śrīvaiṣṇavas, both are eternal & deva-bhāṣās.

@actualsnek_ Might have but the broader point is that MS serves as a key for understanding sUtra-s from AA. Conversely, the reason why AA has its brevity and level of sophistication is incorporation of MS. We say हलन्त for the sign of consonant endings and even that is simply हल् + अन्त।

धुरन्धर ~ dhurandhara ~ Dhurandhar In Sanskrit, यो धुरां धारयति स धुरन्धरः। It means 'one who holds the burden/responsibility/yoke' The word features in the शिवताण्डवस्तोत्र as well where शिव is called जगत् धुरन्धर meaning 'one who holds the burden of the entire world'

Every caste had equal representation — we know this from our own texts. In Rāmāyaṇa Mīmāṃsā, Dharmasamrāṭa Swami Karpatrījī Mahārāj writes: In the king’s assembly, the chief representatives of all communities (jātis) were present— “सभा: सर्वेषु जातिषु।” (Śukranīti) (i.e., the assembly included people from all sections of society.)
