So I went to this same AP filling station Maitama, this afternoon to buy fuel. One of the attendants recognized me and rushed over, asking for my number and said she wanted to send me 5k airtime. She said the tweet I made about their N10k monthly salary really helped them. Their salary was increased to N71k that same month and has remained stable since then. Her smile melted my heart. I thanked her for the kind gesture and gave her more money than the 5k airtime she wanted to give me. She didn’t want to accept it, but I insisted. I’m so happy to be able to make others happy. 💃💃💃 Things we do for love ❤️❤️

This morning, I stopped by AP Filling Station in Maitama, opposite Transcorp, to fuel my car. To my surprise, I noticed the fuel attendants murmuring, so I decided to engage one of them since there weren’t many cars around. I asked what was going on, and the lady told me they had just protested to the management for a salary increase, but their request was rejected. I gently asked how much they earn monthly, and to my shock, she said they’re paid ₦10,000 per month. I asked if she meant ₦100,000, but she insisted it was ₦10,000. She even called one of her colleagues, and when I asked her, she confirmed it. Where is the Nigerian Labour Congress when you need them? This is exactly the kind of issue people likes of @sowore, @adeyanjudeji etc should be fighting for, instead of focusing solely on the presidency. Nigerians aren’t even fair to each other. How do they expect these workers to transport themselves, feed their families, and not be tempted to steal from customers? A big station like Androva Petroleum shouldn’t be paying staff such a disgracefully low salary. I hope they act fast. I feel genuinely sad for them and pray they get justice as soon as possible.

“Stop Attacking Tuggar, Face Your Record” — Bauchi Group Fires Back at Yuguda “At a time when the party is navigating a difficult political environment, Ambassador Tuggar @YusufTuggar has shown courage and strategic leadership by supporting party structures and mobilising support across Bauchi,” the statement said. The group also criticised Yuguda’s remarks as an attempt to gain political relevance, arguing that the former governor lacks the moral authority to question the integrity of others. thejour.com/politics/stop-…

@kokomatic The way this is pleasing to me cannot be spoken of enough. A movement with structure, organisation and a definite goal. Nothing shoddy, shabby or aimless. More of this 😊

This is how serious political movements build strength, not just noise on social media but real meetings, real planning and real alignment of people who are ready to work. When stakeholders across different sectors and even in the diaspora are coming together to discuss strategy and national progress, it shows structure, discipline and long-term thinking. That is what organised politics looks like. The presence of Barr. Seyi Tinubu and other key figures also shows that youth engagement and political participation are being taken beyond slogans into practical coordination. 2027 will not be won by emotions or online outrage, it will be shaped by preparation, unity and consistent grassroots engagement like this. Well done, my leader.
