Nobody tells you this when you start trading: The goal isn't to find the perfect trade. The goal is to build a system that lets you go from $5,000 → $50,000 → $500,000 without blowing up along the way, Position sizing is that system. If you don’t change how you size your account, then you will keep on changing strategy because of your unprofitable outcome. $500 risk on a $10,000 account feels normal. $500 risk on a $200,000 account is feels underperformance. $5,000 risk on a $10,000 account is a suicide mission. Your focus should be how to position your trades in accordance with your capital in % Risk and Returns.
