I found a copy of my work labelled as « impressive AI generation » and without any attribution…
I created this animation for my shader coding tutorial a year ago: youtu.be/f4s1h2YETNY
"The domino effect"
It took a decade to set up, but watching it through all its sensors and cameras was mesmerizing fun: the fall of humanity.

@kometbomb@Neven I have the Skid marks cow car in my game. 🐄💨
I was honestly happy with 32 rots. But now I look back and everything seems so juddery. Here's how it looks at 90. Rendering is great!
I just open sourced the "OpenSCAD to Spritesheet" workflow I created for Daily Driver: github.com/gingerbeardman…
It's a Frankenstein mish-mash of Makefile and Shell scripts that evolved over many months/years. Somewhat optimised to do as much in parallel as I could figure. 🚗💨
@gingerbeardman@Neven Yeah I bet it looks great! I remember Skidmarks on the Amiga looking amazing with tons of sprite rotations (more than around the Y axis even).
@kometbomb It's funny! It was originally 32 rots, wheels straight/left/right. One day I saw a car rotating at 60fps so I changed to that. Then @neven asked if there was an upper limit? Playdate managed 360, but some frames were never displayed. 90 was the sweet spot! So I added more poses.
@kometbomb Here's a fanfic backstory:
It's 2142, a century after WW4. Your mission is to clear Earth from unexploded nuclear megabombs. As per last United Nations Bis resolution any AI is forbidden and you must control your ship manually. The future of The Hive is in your hands. Good luck!
@gimblll It has to do with the OP getting ad money thanks to people replying to the thread and viewing the tweet. Kinda like how you would post something clearly wrong/annoying/stupid as a clickbait. Maybe they go down the most popular hashtag list and #screenshotsaturday was next?
