We take security concerns extremely seriously, and I would like to provide some additional context for this situation. The individual who raised these concerns (@/Hasiradoo) is a developer currently working on a competing platform. They created an account on our site with the intent of identifying potential vulnerabilities, and shared their findings publicly on Twitter and privately to us. While some of their concerns are valid, they are also making false claims that we want to address. Their original post dates back to April, during the first week of our platform's launch, when we had approximately 20–50 users. We want to clearly correct one of their claims: at no point were passwords leaked, this is false. However, at that early stage, some issues were identified (such as emails being shown), and those were fixed on the same day. This is not an issue that has been going on for months, we addressed it immediately. Since then, we have made significant security improvements and continue to actively strengthen our systems. In fact, we shared an update just last week stating that we made additional security enhancements. They made other false claims that we never responded to their security concerns, when in reality, we had a discussed the issue with them on the same day and fixed it in April. They had some valid criticism which we appreciate, and we have resolved the security concerns they brought to us. However, they are now using the resolved situation to create panic and mislead users, and this is extremely disheartening for us. We do appreciate all concerns, feedback, and criticism, but we ask that these be raised responsibly and accurately, so as not to cause panic, mislead or harm the community. We will actively investigate any other security claims that are brought to us. As some of you have noticed, our team works quick, because we are working on the platform all day, everyday.
