For the first time, Arab Bank Switzerland joins @NFCsummit as Main Partner. As long-term supporters of digital art – among others through the ABS Digital Art Prize – ABS continues its engagement with crypto culture and contemporary digital art practices at this year’s NFC Summit in Lisbon. “NFC Summit has been one of the first festivals dedicated to crypto and crypto culture, and has always provided the framework for our Digital Art Prize,” says Rani Jabban, Deputy CEO of Arab Bank Switzerland. “We are delighted that the summit’s move allows us to come closer together geographically, and we believe it is important to support NFC Summit’s continued development.” With NFC Summit’s move to a new location, new possibilities emerge for presenting works from the collection and the three finalists of the prize in closer dialogue with the summit itself – creating a shared setting for exhibitions, encounters, and exchange beyond the traditional white cube. We look forward to this year’s edition in Lisbon.

The Switzerlands largest supermarket, Migros, doesn’t sell alcohol or tobacco in stores, pays no dividends, caps profits by lowering prices if earnings exceeds 5%, is a cooperative with 2M+ members, and donates 1% of revenue to social projects, purely out of the founders moral philosophy.

I’ve long felt that his works are like a form of meditation, and I’ve told him that directly as well. Although his pieces use vivid colors, when you dim the room and quietly gaze at them, your mind gradually becomes still. This latest work was no exception. Standing within his works, which covered every wall of Neort++, strangely felt like sitting in zazen meditation at a temple.
