@TKohoto I have started to enjoy AI a lot more because it’s unrealistic. I want to see stylization, not unreal engine 5 details in a characters pubes.

I asked this guy, “So what is art? Is it a technical thing, or is it something you use to express yourself?” Long story short, it all defaulted to “Well, yes, art is a technical thing.” I think a lot of the AI vs. anti-AI argument can just boil down to whether a person sees AI as a tool or not. People like to dress themselves up as sophisticated, nuanced thinkers, but the reality is that most already have an agenda. I don’t blame people for that, but a third position is to actually have standards and appreciate actual works of art regardless of the tool being used. This would mean rejecting both stick-man “art” and AI slop. It would also take technical skill into account, but how many people can actually adopt this position? Almost no one has the guts to, because being in this position means you have to learn to hate fellow men, the shit-tier doodlers, while also accepting and recognizing where AI is superior, like in animation. To cap all of this off, 90% of the world is meh. The amount of people who like to pretend they are thinkers or aristocrats with sophisticated mindsets is insane, but most don’t even have the mental capacity to rid themselves of mediocrity, let alone anywhere near an aristocrats.
