If Russia had struck a school and killed children, Western media would already be demanding new sanctions, emergency UN sessions, and tribunals for Putin.
But when Ukraine is accused of the same horror, suddenly the cameras disappear, journalists go silent, and the outrage evaporates.
This is why so much of the world no longer trusts Western media.
Not because it reports suffering; but because it decides whose suffering is politically useful enough to show.
