If you don’t know how to handle rejection with grace, then living outside your comfort zone is not for you. Especially in a place like the UK. Where do we even start from? You can apply for like 100 jobs, go through stressful application processes, tweak your CV like your life depends on it, and still get polite rejection emails before they even look at you properly. Then the ones that do call you for interview… you’ll walk out feeling like you just secured the job of the year… only to see “we regret to inform you” waiting for you like a loyal enemy. And the real joke? You’ll take one “just to survive” job like this, settle down small… then your dream jobs will now start emailing you like “Hi, we’ve reviewed your application and would like to proceed” 😭 So now your inbox is basically doing relationship confusion with your destiny. At some point, the application stress will humble you so much that you’ll accidentally apply for jobs in places like Afghanistan or Sudan 😭 Omo mhen. This country will test your mental strength like it’s part of the job description. But somehow, you keep going. And that’s the point. Because in all the noise of rejections and delays, one yes can still rewrite everything. So don’t stop showing up. Keep refining, keep applying, keep believing. Your effort is not disappearing it is compounding. #UKJobs #JobSearch #UKLife #ImmigrantLife #Relatable #LifeStruggles #KeepGoing #JobSeeker

@FabrizioRomano Nothing beats knowing you have the full backing of your coach and teammates in football. Every main man thrives when he feels trusted, supported and appreciated.

In 2023, Bola Tinubu scored 8million votes—with how woeful he has performed, I don’t expect him to score more than 5 million votes. On the other hand, Peter Obi has the potential to score over 11 million votes in 2027. —Prof. Udenta Udenta

@IShowSpeedHQ Henry saying he’s brought bad luck for wearing a Nigerian shirt is nonsense honestly. He should know better. Let’s just assume he doesn’t mean that literally.

There is nobody in this 2027 election that is more qualified to run for President like Peter Obi There’s a reason why he’s still the most competent in Nigeria today .. Go and verify.

The UK economy is basically: Work hard, get paid, pay rent/ mortgage, pay bills, do a food shopping Then spend the next three weeks broke wondering where your money went.

@koobakedah @GoalsXtra Yeah don’t be on social media defending decisions against your people like this . I’m all for accountability but let’s not justify this administration’s bigotry.

@oddettem Even the man himself is the number one critic of South Africa. Yes, he doesn’t like how the whites and the foreigners are treated. He identifies more with the US than the “taking our jobs” people

I can’t argue with you if you’re sure it’s not like that on your end. I just don’t want my point to be misunderstood. I’m pro-Africa through and through. So, let’s just say it’s Trump-era America that has become excessively strict, then. Sad for the Senegalese fans, though, because Senegal and Morocco are probably the biggest threats we have from Africa at this World Cup, and we are solidly behind them.

@koobakedah @GoalsXtra These official supporters have been everywhere in the world and have participated in previous world cups no such thing happened for Senegalese supporters. Maybe next time refer to your country , y’all always generalize Africans by how Nigerians are

This is no longer some hidden truth. Everyone is already aware of it. Why do you think many visa refusal letters contain phrases like, “you have not demonstrated sufficient ties to your home country”? I’m not one to speak badly about my country or our continent, but this is something that has been common knowledge for a long time already.

@tweetcunha I’d take Beckham, Scholes, Alonso and maybe Porto for Long pass. All of them are very good when it comes to Long passes, honestly. But people like Beckham were famed for that.

@ahchoen @GoalsXtra That’s true, though. Well, it’s still an opportunity to travel, right? You can be from Pakistan, Afghanistan, Indian or even Nepal living in the far east or somewhere and say you are going to the USA to watch the World Cup, right? 😊
