Take home/point for discussion: Natural capital is our wealth (Gold) and we must guard it jealously. Whoever is depleting our natural capital is an enemy and the strong hand of the law should not spare him. GOVERNMENT BUREUCRATICS WHAT ARE WE DOING? History will judge us.

For me the realistic answer to depletion of natural capital is law enforcement. After my observation as a government bureaucratic a Professor from MUK advised me to stop making work plans, budgets and forecasts but start acting. AND I TOTALLY AGREE WITH HIM.

The paper discusses the four types of capital and their relationship. Developing human and social capital at the expense of natural capital leads to calamitous negative impact on the environment. This calls for economic modelling of the different investment approaches.

But like most developing countries that highly depend on natural resources, the trend is gradually going down. Call for urgent investment in restoration of vegetation cover (Forests, wetlands etc) and wise use of resources. #climateaction
