it’s only charting week four. we have a very long way to go before the end of the year so your daily doom posting crash outs about the ever changing ebbs and flows of streaming numbers benefits no one especially given the fact that every friday there are new releases plus our competition isn’t even fellow music listeners but instead autoplay.
the album is a success. that’s a fact. a lot of you need to let go of the “we need to be number one forever or it’s a flop” mentality and accept the reality that we can’t be number one forever. we have zero control over the engagement from the general public so the best thing that we can do is focus on what we can control which is our consistency and stabilizing our numbers for longevity for the rest of the year and beyond.
