🥹 We’re always deeply moved when we ask for these funds, which cost approximately $150, and every single time, you help us meet the need. Ranging from 20-months-old to four-years-old, thank you for giving confidence so these four young children know how deeply loved they are.

👧🏻👦🏻 In March, 4 children newly arrived at two KKOOM-supported children’s homes. 👕👚 We reached out to the KKOOM community to cover Welcome Boost Funds, a fund focused that provides new clothing/essential items for children entering the social welfare system for the first time.

👗 KKOOM provides $150 to the house mothers to purchase the necessary items for them to feel confident. 💕 The photos here are of a four-year-old girl who arrived two months at a KKOOM-supported children’s home. I think her smiles says everything about how beautiful she feels.

🌸Happy first day of spring! We’re excited to share that the KKOOM Dream Big Gala site is now live! ✨Did you know this is our first gala we have ever had in the United States? It’s going to be a beautiful evening celebrating 15 years of making dreams possible for Korean youth.

🎒 This year, a children’s home asked if we could fund new backpacks for 11 children entering their new school level. Each bag cost ~$75. 🥰 The children have started elementary, middle, or high school walking the hallways w/ confidence wearing their brand new backpacks.

📚 March is the beginning of a new school year in South Korea. For two years in a row, we have provided new backpacks or shoes for three KKOOM-supported children’s homes.

🤩 We typically do an English Winter Camp but we changed it up this year in January 2023! 🎨 Painting tote bags for the KKOOM Winter Camp helped the children communicate their emotions or feelings. Painting boosts a person’s confidence, while building their resiliency.
