@hallmarkt @simpsoka We originally were considering a vestaboard, but it felt pretty limiting in the types of things we wanted to display. Check eBay for used boards. That’s how we kept the cost down.

@simpsoka @korevec So cool. I've been eyeing the super pricey Vestaboard, but your diy build looks so fun. Trades off the alphanumeric bits for higher resolution and interactivity. I imagine the total BOM cost is quite high. Already emailed AlfaZeta.

@myrnamelgar I know you're a supporter of Vision Zero & bike advocacy in SF. I bike my son to school on Teresita Blvd & constantly feel unsafe doing so. Because it's a high traffic thoroughfare I would love to see a dedicated bike lane. Let's prioritize safe streets over parking.

@pkedrosky I agree on TP, and I personally know they've tried to branch out. But I think they really struggle convincing the old guard to evolve.
