@Llakard Salut, j’ai quasi terminé le 1er jeu. (De ce qui entre temps s’est un peu transformé en "franchise") Une alpha devrait arriver ce mois-ci (avant été) dans une update KS privée si tout va bien. J’étais la tête dans le guidon en mode "la prochaine update c’est direct du jouable"

@VraiLionel_B Haha 😝 La belle époque ! Pour le premier projet à se compléter issu de ce lore (A-RPG avec une héroïne), je récupère beaucoup d’éléments provenant des tentatives/projets avortés passés, j’ai donc un ennemi 🦇 qui fait référence à ce « Nosferapti altéré » de l’époque (Nosfatanos)

J'en tombe des nus. J'apprends qu'un projet de fangame Pokémon FR en mode dark et gore que j'ai connu en 2005 a évolué pour être un jeu original ! Bon il est pas encore sorti malgré un financement Kickstarter en 2017, apparemment, ça vise pour cet Hiver. Koruldia si ça intérese.

@RetroQuester PSone era was such a perfect storm of ground breaking technological innovations, but still need to come up with bold creative ideas to go around serious limitations. I still vividly remember how it felt as a kid and I want to recapture that feeling. 🙂

@thearcadio_ It’s quite an adventure, it’s good to know I’m not alone. 🙂 It’s been a bumpy road during the pandemic, but now things look bright and I love the journey again. And now the game looks like I’ve always dreamed it would.

@koruldia I can’t wait for this game to come out! I ordered with kick starter while ago and I’ve enjoyed watching the development unfold

The main hook of the game is exploration, it always felt limited that everything was flat (or height was faked) before. Not anymore! We can now jump on 3D terrain with gravity, all in a coherent 2.5D (aka #hd2d for some) graphic style carefully crafted with #pixelart 👾 #gamedev

@floflo81 Well "small team" is mostly me (gf helping sometimes) 😅 ; and indeed i'm a bit too perfectionist, or it’s just that i have a vision in mind and this is the right tech for it. Here it’s close to the plugin "MV3D" for #rpgmaker mv, so it still has that legacy and overall "RM vibe"

@koruldia Did you completely rewrite the engine? I thought it was based on some version of RPG Maker, but it looks completely different now. I feel like your small team is fully made of perfectionists, always trying to improve everything XD

@CodeRed_dev Thanks! Video quality and resolution here is not the best but at least it’s 60fps 😅 On my rig i playtest in 4k 120fps, looks great. Things scale up quite beautifully with that art style
