@andy_delaney Surely cost has to play a part in this no?
English

@GraceOnFootball Do think this obscure the fact that there were several injuries and that we had played almost all of the ‘top’ sides during this period.

i would personally aim for the least amount of effort for the maximum results, not the opposite.

Really??

@Zonal_Marking Would scrum caps (or similar) alleviate this problem? Would obviously need to be a bespoke design to allow for control of the ball.

In 2021 the FA gave guidance on the maximum number of headers players should do in training. Since then, headed clearances are up 50% in the PL, and up 100% in L2. If football is serious about the long-term impact of heading, it should be very concerned.

@CorporateAK Made a massive difference off the bench. Ball stuck much more with him going forward. Could build attacks.

If he were to win every game between now and the end of the season, you’d absolutely have to give him the permanent job. Mad take otherwise.

🚨🗣️ Gary Neville: "There cannot be any consideration that Michael takes the job beyond this season, for Michael and for the club. "If he wins every game, look, we could be sat here in the season where he's done unbelievably well, and we're always thinking the fans are up and they're in the Champions League places, fifth or whatever. It could happen if there's a good run and we could all be getting swayed with it. "I honestly feel like at the end of the season when you've got Pochettino, Tuchel and Ancelotti."

Are we having: “sent the keeper the right way” for a penalty save? Commentator on talk sport just now during the Newcastle penalty shootout. @FootballCliches

@andy_delaney It’s also hardly not like we have absolutely loads of attacking threat either. Felt like it was an obvious thing for you to try to match us up today.
English

@andy_delaney And one glaring problem (depend on the severity of the injury)
English

@andy_delaney They have time on the ball in their own half. As soon as they get near the edge of the box, there’s 2 banks of 5 and nowhere to go. There’s so much space in the video you’ve shared!
English

@andy_delaney Possibly, but I wonder if that’s due to time on the ball then too.
