BREAKING NEWS: NDLEA Arrests Cocaine Kingpin an Ibo man King Eze Arinze in Lagos Cocaine Bust And his gang Ezenwo who was hiding under a Yoruba name “ Ajayi” as a disguise
LAGOS — The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has dismantled a cocaine trafficking syndicate, arresting 52-year-old King Arinze, the alleged kingpin, in Isolo, Lagos.
Following a three-week operation, NDLEA officers intercepted 3.1 kg of cocaine concealed in tins of palm kernel extract bound for the UK at Murtala Muhammed Airport. The arrest of sender Ibo man Ezemuwo Joel led investigators to Arinze’s hideout.
Other linked suspects mentioned in reports include:
- Ezemuwo Joel (who operated under a fake identity as Ajayi) — arrested as the sender of the consignment.
- Akputa Dickson Ejike (36) — arrested earlier at the airport in connection with the syndicate.
Officers then raided his warehouse at 11, Ola Ifa Street, Bucknor, Isolo, recovering 886 prepared tins, a sealing machine, tin openers, paint sprays, 52 grams of cannabis, and other tools. Arinze reportedly confessed to draining the oil from the tins to hide the cocaine.
The raid was captured in shaky video footage showing rooms stacked with packaging materials. Arinze and the linked suspects remain in custody.

Peter Obi just secured sympathy votes for Tinubu with that post. Many of us were already outraged by the incident in Jos.
Whenever I feel like criticizing this government more strongly, Peter Obi reminds me that he could be even worse.
I would rather stick with Tinubu than support someone who seems inconsistent and unclear in his stance. Obi will never be President of Nigeria.
